Boulder Valley School District supports 55 schools to serve the needs of nearly 30,000 students in the communities of Boulder, Eldorado Springs, Gold Hill, Jamestown, Lafayette, Louisville, Marshall, Nederland, Superior, and Ward, as well as portions of Broomfield and Erie. St. Vrain Valley School District, ninth largest in the state of Colorado, supports 49 schools to serve the needs of over 27,000 students in the communities of eastern Boulder, Broomfield, Dacono, Erie, Firestone, Frederick, Hygiene, Longmont, Lyons, Mead, Niwot, Peaceful Valley, and Raymond.
